Campground Host couples are needed for our campgrounds for the 2013 summer season in Alaska from May 15th until September 15th.
Our company is Alaska Recreational Management (ARM); we are the concessionaire for 13 US Forest Service (USFS) campgrounds including the Russian River. All of our campgrounds are on the Kenai Peninsula, 100+ miles south of Anchorage. (We also have Williwaw and Black Bear Campgrounds in Portage Valley. 50 miles south of Anchorage.)

- Williwaw - Portage Valley area
- Black Bear - Portage Valley area
- Porcupine
- Granite Creek
- Bertha Creek
- Tenderfoot
- Trail River
- Ptarmigan
- Primrose
- Quartz Creek
- Crescent Creek
- Cooper Creek
- Russian River
Requirements:
1) You must have excellent customer service skills, cash handling experience and a valid driver license.
2) You'll be doing cash handling, dealing with the public, filing daily reports, cleaning campsites and out houses.
3) Must be at least 21 years old.
4) Must have a self contained Motorhome or camp trailer (NO TENTS). (Well water is available at all campgrounds, but no sewer or electric.)
What better way to enjoy "Alaska"! Free campsite, minimum amount of hours to work, plenty of time for fishing, hiking, sight-seeing, etc.
We are presently filling all our positions for the campgrounds, so this is the perfect time to apply! If you're new to working at a campground, try a smaller campground this year and move up to a bigger one next year.
These are paid positions, pay varies and depends on the campground size and other duties assigned. A free campsite will be provided.
IN ADDITION: We have openings for summer employment at the Ferry and Russian River Campground as well. We provide bunk housing for these employees but it is very rugged living conditions and not suited for couples.
