Marylin's Molasses Cookies

This is a soft cookie I like to make when you're tired of chocolate chip or oatmeal! Also great for mid-morning coffee breaks while out on the river or out on the trail.

  1. Cream together first 4 ingredients.
  2. Add next 6 ingredients.
  3. Chill for about 1 hour.
  4. Form into small balls, roll in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake in 375° oven for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly on cookie sheet, then remove to finish cooling.
