Marylin's Halibut Tacos

OK but don't laugh! This unique way of serving up halibut for your family or guests will become a hit just as soon as they try it.

A lot of people turned up their noses when I first made these but EVERYBODY wanted more after they tried them!

  • Cut fish into finger size pieces.
  • Mix flour, garlic, and beer to make a smooth batter.
  • Dip fish in batter and fry in hot oil (350-375 degrees) until golden brown.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, mix mayo and yogurt together.
  • Warm up tortillas in microwave.
  • Assemble Tacos as follows:
    • Place some shredded cabbage in center of tortilla.
    • Add fish pieces, and a heaping tablespoon of the mayo mixture.
    • Top with salsa and a squeeze of fresh lime.
