Marylin's Seafood Lasagna

Here is a great recipe with a delicate blend of several of Alaska's delicious seafoods in a single dish. If you are a seafood lover, you can't go wrong with this one!!

Saute onion and garlic in butter until onion is soft. Using whisk add flour and milk. Cook, stirring often until sauce is hot and thickened. Stir in the seafood, 1 cup parmesan, salt and pepper. On low heat, cook until seafood is cooked. Taste and adjust the seasonings.

In a 9x13" pan put a layer of noodles (4 per layer). Spoon 1/3 of the sauce on top. Sprinkle 1/2 of the mozzarella on top of sauce. Add another layer of noodles, half of the remaining sauce (include most of the seafood) and the remaining mozzarella. Add a third layer of noodles, top with remaining sauce and the 1/4 cup parmesan.

At this point you can wrap tightly and refrigerate. Or you can put into a 350° F. oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes until the top is brown and bubbly. Add more cooking time if it has been refrigerated.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving. This dish could be made with just halibut, or if you have it you could add crab.
